California's schools are funded under a model known as the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Under this model, districts are required to develop a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP is a three-year plan describing the goals, actions, services, and expenditures that support positive student outcomes addressing state and local priorities. This process provides opportunities for educational partner input during scheduled meetings, online surveys, and events. In AUHSD, this collaborative approach helps us collectively determine how our resources align with our shared vision and our community's diverse needs.
