Earning A High School Diploma Is An Important Milestone In Your Educational Career
WHAT IF I DON’T PASS THE CAHSEE?
Educational Options
To earn a high school diploma you must:
- Pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
- Pass all required courses
- Acquire 230 credits
- Earn a grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher
If you do not pass the CAHSEE by the completion of your 12th grade year, you are encouraged to continue your education until you have acquired the necessary skills. You may continue to receive educational services focused on passing the CAHSEE for two consecutive years after your 12th grade year through Anaheim Adult Education.
Anaheim Adult Education offers:
- Intensive instruction in the skills necessary to pass the CAHSEE
- English language development (ELD) courses for English Learner students
- Additional opportunities to take the CAHSEE
- A full range of courses necessary to meet diploma requirements
